What is required to book/save my date?
In order to book and lock in your date you will need to sign a contract and pay a 25% deposit on the services you're seeking. If you're unsure of the total amount of services you may need on your wedding day but want to secure your date, we can lock in your services and add on other services at a later date.
can i book a trial before booking my wedding date?
Yes you can, however, we cannot ensure your date will still be available unless a contract is signed and a deposit is received.
do you offer airbrush makeup?
Unfortunately, we do not offer airbrush makeup. At Ethereal with Em we do Traditional Makeup application- this gives us the ability to fully customize your look based on your skin type. It also allows for easier touch-ups in comparison to airbrush.
what if i have to cancel or reschedule?
If something occurs and you have to cancel, unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable. If you paid the total remaining balance before your date and cancel within 15 days you are entitled to a refund of that remaining balance. If you end up needing to reschedule, as long as we have availability for that date we will rebook.
where are services completed?
At Ethereal with Em, all of our services are mobile- meaning we travel to you! Travel within 30 minutes is included, after that $1/minute of travel is charged. Arrangements can be made for a second location if absolutely necessary. (Fees may vary)
how should i prepare for my appointment?
The best way to prepare for your appointment is to make sure you deeply cleanse and exfoliate your skin prior and follow up with your preferred moisturizer. Some people like to dermaplane before their appointments to remove any facial hair they may have, but that is completely optional! For hair- make sure to double wash and condition your hair prior to your appointment. We will not be able to work on your hair if it is unwashed. We also require that you or any guests receiving services provide inspiration photos of preferred styles/looks.
what forms of payment are accepted?
We accept Cash, Check, Zelle and Venmo as payment methods.
can you accommodate large wedding parties?
In order to accommodate larger parties, additional artists are needed. Fees may vary.
do i have to book a trial?
Hair and makeup trials are not required but they are highly recommended. Due to my experience over the years, I always recommend booking a trial for your bridal hair and makeup services. Not only does this give you the opportunity to see and feel your desired look before the big day, but it also allows for any necessary adjustments to be made. Plus, with a trial, you can avoid any last-minute stress or surprises. Trust me, a trial is worth the investment in ensuring you look and feel your absolute best on your special day. So go ahead and book that trial!
do you offer bridesmaid/mother of bride trials?
We do offer trials for bridesmaids and mothers of the bride, with the understanding that the bride's trial is our top priority and scheduling availability may not allow for the trials to be on the same day.
what if i'm not happy with the results of my trial?
If you're not happy with the results of your trial, one re-trial is offered free of cost (not including travel). If you are still unhappy and wish to do another trial to try a different style or look, there will be a second charge.
